EXPERIENCE
Mr. Gray founded Gray Engineering Consultants in 1984 and is
currently its Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Gray has been
working as a Civil Design Engineer since 1961 on Industrial,
Commercial, Residential Subdivisions, and Government
Projects. He is experienced in surveying, sitework, road and
bridge construction, storm drainage, water and sewer
distribution systems, treatment facilities and environmental
system design. He also has experience in structural
engineering, building design, construction management, field
inspection, and cost estimating.

CAREER SUMMARY AND TECHNICAL
EXPERIENCE
Mr. Gray has been with Gray Engineering since 1990 and is
the President of Gray Engineering. Mr. Gray has extensive
experience in all aspects of site development engineering.
He has worked as a Civil Design and Sitework Engineer for
Municipal, Industrial, and Commercial clients. He has
experience in water distribution systems, wastewater
collection systems, sitework design, erosion control design,
and stormwater management systems. He also has experience in
cost estimating, conceptual design, final design, equipment
selection, construction management, and field inspection. He
has had an additional three years of experience in computer
resource management. This management consists of
installation, maintenance, and performance of every aspect
concerning computer hardware, software, communication, and
local area networking. Mr. Gray is experienced with the
latest Autodesk Land Desktop, Sedcad, and other computer
aided design tools.

CAREER SUMMARY AND TECHNICAL
EXPERIENCE
Mr. Graffius has been with Gray Engineering since 1998, is a
Senior Project Engineer and Manager. He has been a hard
working and dedicated project engineer for over 16 years in
the field of civil engineering, planning, design and
permitting. Mr. Graffius has been employed by PennDOT, L.
Robert Kimball & Associates, Inc. and Crown American
Corporation prior to joining the Gray Team. He has
experience is concept site layouts, land planning, site
design, highway planning and design, grading, storm drainage
design, hydrology and hydraulic computer modeling,
detention/retention pond sizing and design, overall
stormwater management, utility design and layout, erosion
and sedimentation control design, SWPPP preparation, final
construction documents preparation and all aspects of civil
permitting including local planning approvals, state and
local stormwater and land disturbance permitting, state and
local utility permitting and state and local highway
permitting. He has experience with construction
consultation working very closely with general, grading and
utility contractors throughout the life of the project. He
has worked closely with property owners on and adjacent to
construction project sites to ensure owners are informed in
a professional manner. David has also managed several large
commercial retail projects throughout his career. David is a
team player and will utilize his technical expertise and
experience in any team role to serve the project well. David
has experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Hydraflow,
Sedcad 3 and 4, VTPSUHM and HEC-RAS storm modeling software.

Mr. Rathke, with Gray Engineering since 2000, is a Senior
Project Designer with extensive experience in land planning,
subdivision layout, permitting, sanitary sewer design, sewer
trunkline design, road design, site grading, storm drain
design, and color project rendering. He has a wide-ranged
knowledge of Autodesk Land Desktop, Civil 3D, Hydraflow,
Photoshop, M-Color, and Autodesk Impression which allows him
to quickly assist the Project Management Team as needed.

Mr. Stover has been with Gray Engineering since 1997, is a
Senior Project Designer with extensive experience in land
planning, commercial design layout, permitting, sanitary
sewer design, sewer trunkline design, road design, and site
grading. He has a wide-ranged knowledge of Autodesk Land
Desktop, Civil 3D, Hydraflow, and WaterCad which allows him
to quickly assist the Project Management Team as needed.
Mr. Stover was awarded the “2003 Excellence in Design Award”
by the City of Spartanburg, SC for his outstanding
accomplishments in site design for the Dorman Centre Retail
Complex.

D. JOHNSHON, E.I.T.

CAREER SUMMARY AND TECHNICAL
EXPERIENCE
Mr. Johnson has 5 years experience in the field of civil
engineering. He has been with Gray Engineering since 2005
and has experience in sitework design for numerous
commercial, residential, and industrial projects. His range
of involvement with design includes site layout plans,
grading and drainage plans, stormwater management design (SWPPP),
wastewater system design, water system design, pump station
design, and regulatory permitting.

Mr. Przirembel has been with Gray Engineering since 2004, is
a Project Designer with extensive experience in land
planning, permitting, sanitary sewer design, potable water
line design, and pump stations and sanitary sewer and
potable water field testing. He has a wide-ranged knowledge
of Autodesk Land Desktop, Civil 3D and WaterCad which allows
him to quickly assist the Project Management Team as needed.
Prior to his arrival at Gray Engineering, Mr. Przirembel
worked in the chemical industry for 16 years in the areas of
research and development, manufacturing and technical sales
support.

CAREER SUMMARY
Mrs. Gray helped found Gray Engineering Consultants, Inc. in
1984 and is currently the office manager.
